Week 1 – Progress
Demo!! The goal this week was to have all the utilities disconnected and temp facilities installed. All of this has to be done prior to demolition. This includes the following:
- Temp fencing
- Sand Bags
- Temp toilets
- Temp power pole
- Disconnect main power line to house
- Cap and remove gas meter
- Install temp water
Our demo was scheduled for Monday but got bumped up to today since the demo company was overbooked. Thankfully, we were ready, so Week One included complete demolition of the home. (To recap we closed 1 week ago today. I’m not sure if there are any records broken there, but we’re pretty happy about it 😊)
